• Representation of a credit insurer in defense of a class action on behalf of former policyholders seeking premium refunds
• Representation of former owner of a non-profit hospital facility in an action alleging that a large public corporation owning numerous hospitals breached a contract to purchase the facility
• Representation of the owner of a group of nursing homes in connection with a series of claims of alleged inadequate care and seeking, among other relief, to pierce the corporate veil and impose liability on individual shareholder
• Representation of retirees and their beneficiaries in class actions alleging that several state retirement funds miscalculated retirement benefits over a multi-year period
• Representation of a public hospital authority in defense of claims seeking substantial recoveries for alleged breach of executive employment agreements
• Representation of major brokerage houses in defense of state law RICO action alleging that a publicly traded company and a number of its individual shareholders have been injured by abusive short sales of securities
