While Rogers & Hardin recruits and hires law school students who participated in the Rogers & Hardin Summer Associate Program, we also encourage well credentialed lateral associate attorneys and judicial clerks who have not participated in the Summer Associate Program to consider a career with Rogers & Hardin.
We want associates who are looking for immediate action and who want to work closely with partners and our clients from the beginning. Come see how Rogers & Hardin can help to further develop your legal career.
“A legal career as an associate at Rogers & Hardin combines the opportunity for significant responsibilities on major legal matters while at the same time working closely with individual Partners in addressing clients’ needs.”
Dan Zegura, Hiring Partner
Associates at Rogers & Hardin are encouraged to identify and work on pro bono matters. Time spent working on pro bono matters is taken into consideration when making associate bonus decisions.
Performance reviews and feedback sessions are conducted on an annual basis. Mid-year reviews are held for associates nearing partnership consideration so that the firm can assist the associate and provide guidance on becoming a partner at Rogers & Hardin. Ongoing informal feedback is encouraged within client teams and between the associates and their mentors.
“In addition to having meaningful client interaction and opportunities to gain real-world litigation experience, I have found Rogers & Hardin to be supportive of my efforts to participate in seminars and speaking engagements. During the past year, I have presented at a CLE program, co-chaired a forum with the Federal Bar Association, participated in a number of in-house client seminars, and have drafted numerous scholarly and practical articles. These experiences are excellent opportunities for associates to familiarize themselves with a narrow area of the law and to hone public speaking skills.”
